By completing your purchase of this E-course, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and Liability Disclaimer in their entirety. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not complete your purchase or access this content.
Licensing Disclosure
Brick and Mortar LLC holds architectural licenses in the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin only. This E-course is available for purchase nationally; however, purchasing or accessing this content does not create an architect-client relationship, is for educational purposes only, does not constitute the solicitation or practice of architecture.
Educational Purpose Only
The information in this E-course is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended to provide, and does not constitute, architectural design services, structural analysis, code compliance review, accessibility (ADA) consultation, or technical construction advice of any kind. The E-course content is intended to guide you through defining and recording your business needs for physical space and how to obtain the information necessary to choose a space that is right for you, and subsequently to move with clarity into the renovation design process with a licensed professional. We make no representations, guarantees, or warranties that the information or exercises in this E-course will result in your choosing the objectively right space for your business.
No Architect-Client Relationship
Purchase of this E-course does not create an architect-client relationship between you and Brick and Mortar LLC. No fiduciary or professional relationship of any kind arises between you and Brick and Mortar from your access to or use of this content.
Not a Substitute for Local Professional Advice
The information contained in this E-course is general in nature and is not a substitute for consultation with a licensed architect, contractor, attorney, real estate agent or other qualified professional in your jurisdiction. Building codes, zoning regulations, and permit requirements vary significantly by municipality and state. License Grant & Intellectual Property
By purchasing this E-course, Brick and Mortar LLC grants you a nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to access and use our copyrighted E-course and any associated materials solely for your own personal and non-commercial use. This purchase does not grant you any ownership rights. E-course content may not be copied, modified, resold, redistributed, or used to train AI models without express written permission from Brick and Mortar LLC.
Account & Access Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Access to this E-course is granted to the individual purchaser only and may not be shared, transferred, or made available to any third party. Brick and Mortar LLC reserves the right to terminate access without notice or refund in the event of unauthorized sharing or misuse of account credentials.
Content Access & Updates
Upon purchase, you are granted access to this E-course for the lifetime of the product, meaning for as long as Brick and Mortar LLC actively offers and maintains this E-course. Access is non-transferable and limited to your individual account.
Brick and Mortar LLC reserves the right to discontinue, retire, or remove this E-course at any time. In the event the course is permanently retired, we will provide no less than sixty (60) days advance notice prior to access termination. No refunds will be issued upon discontinuation of the course, consistent with our final sale policy.
From time to time, Brick and Mortar LLC may update, revise, or improve course content at its sole discretion. Any such updates are provided as a courtesy to existing purchasers and will be made available automatically at no additional charge. Purchasers will not be individually notified of updates. Brick and Mortar LLC makes no representations or guarantees regarding the frequency or scope of future updates.
Acceptable Use
This E-course and its content are provided solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to use the content of this E-course, in whole or in part, to develop, produce, or distribute competing courses, trainings, workshops, or derivative materials. Any unauthorized commercial use of this content is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of access and/or legal action.

This E-course may contain references or links to third-party materials. Reference to any third-party products, services, processes, or other information does not constitute or imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party materials and will not have any liability or responsibility in connection with them. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Brick and Mortar LLC, its members, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of this E-course or your violation of these Terms.
Refund Policy & Upgrade Option
All sales of this E-course are final. Due to the digital nature of this product, refunds are not guaranteed. However, Brick and Mortar LLC will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis under the following conditions.

Verified duplicate purchase
To request consideration, contact Brick and Mortar LLC via email at hello@brickandmortar.design. All requests must be submitted within one (1) month of the original purchase date. Requests submitted after this window will not be considered under any circumstances. Refund requests will not be considered if a significant portion of the course content has been accessed or downloaded prior to the request being submitted. Brick and Mortar LLC reserves the right to approve or deny any refund request at its sole discretion. Approved refunds will be returned in full to the original payment method. Please allow up to fourteen (14) business days for approved refunds to be processed.
Upgrade Option to Building Matchmaker Program
If your project is located in Minnesota or Wisconsin, you may be eligible to apply the full purchase price of this E-course as a credit toward enrollment in the Building Matchmaker program. This is not a refund. It is a voluntary upgrade option available to qualifying purchasers at their discretion. To inquire about eligibility and next steps, contact Brick and Mortar LLC at hello@brickandmortar.design. Upgrade credits are subject to availability and the terms of the Building Matchmaker program agreement, which will be provided separately upon enrollment.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in St Louis County, Minnesota.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms of Use and Liability Disclaimer constitute the entire agreement between you and Brick and Mortar LLC with respect to your purchase and use of this E-course. This Agreement supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether written or oral, relating to its subject matter. No marketing materials, social media content, or other communications outside of this document shall be construed as modifying or expanding these Terms.
Modifications to Terms
Brick and Mortar LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued access to the E-course following any posted changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

We will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. If you believe any content in this E-course infringes upon your copyright, please provide written notice via email to hello@brickandmortar.design.
